Cartmel Peninsular Police Report – April 2021

Debbie Ross (PCSO) has been carrying out regular patrols both on foot and mobile around Grange, Allithwaite, Cark, Lindale, Flookburgh, Cartmel and surrounding areas.

Debbie has been made aware of youths making a short cut from the Promenade to the playing fields and onto Kent’s Bank Road. In doing so they are trespassing on the railway, which is not only very dangerous but also a criminal offence and causing damage to fencing, walls and hedging.

There have also been a number of reports of dogs out of control. Can I remind all dog owners to have proper control of their pets, particularly around livestock.

The number of minor road traffic collisions has also increased due to more vehicles on the road following the easing of lockdown restrictions, thankfully, there have been no serious injuries.
