I was born in South Cumbria (Westmorland) but have spent most of my married life working in schools on the Cumbrian West coast whilst living near Cockermouth. We moved back to South Cumbria in 2015; it was like coming home, and Allithwaite is a lovely place to live.
We have two daughters and four grandchildren; none of them live nearby. I am interested in conservation and gardening, cats, reading, and walking, and until lockdown spent many weekends at Old Trafford Football Ground.
